About Isabella - Eating Disorder Nutritionist UK

Specialist Nutrition Support for Eating Disorder Recovery

Hi, I’m Isabella, a BANT and CNHC registered Nutritional Therapist with nearly ten years of experience supporting people with eating disorders and disordered eating.

I specialise in nutrition support for eating disorder recovery, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and orthorexia. My work focuses on helping clients rebuild a calmer, more trusting relationship with food while supporting both physical and emotional recovery.

I have completed the Master Practitioner qualification in Eating Disorders and Obesity with the National Centre for Eating Disorders (BPS approved), which has provided advanced training in the nutritional and psychological complexities of eating disorders.

Professional Experience in Eating Disorder Care

Earlier in my career, I worked for over three years as part of a multidisciplinary team within a private outpatient clinic specialising in eating disorders. This experience gave me invaluable insight into the complexities of recovery and the importance of collaborative care.

During this time, I supported individuals experiencing:

In my private practice, I continue to work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychotherapists and medical professionals where appropriate, ensuring that clients receive safe, well-rounded support throughout their recovery journey.

My Approach to Nutrition and Recovery

Dieting and food restriction often lead to increased cravings, heightened appetite, and a sense of loss of control around food. These responses are physiological, not a failure of willpower.

My approach to eating disorder nutrition support focuses on helping you understand your body’s needs and rebuilding trust with food in a compassionate and sustainable way.

I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to nutrition. Each person’s health history, relationship with food, and recovery journey is unique.

Working holistically, I support clients by:

  • Addressing nutritional imbalances that may affect physical and emotional wellbeing

  • Establishing consistent and balanced eating patterns

  • Reducing anxiety and confusion around food

  • Rebuilding trust in the body’s signals

  • Developing a nourishing and sustainable way of eating without rigid rules or restriction

Through small, manageable changes and personalised nutrition guidance, I aim to help you build a way of eating that supports both your health and your quality of life.

Eating Disorder Nutrition Support Across the UK

I offer online nutritional consultations for eating disorder recovery, allowing clients across the UK, in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales to access specialist support in a confidential and supportive space.

Whether you are at the beginning of your recovery journey or looking for additional support alongside therapy, nutrition can play a vital role in helping you restore balance and rebuild a healthier relationship with food.
